The overshirt is the most useful thing a man can own between seasons. It is also the piece that usually has shorter men dronwing in fabric, the body hangs past your hip, the sleeves cover your hands, and what should look sharp ends up looking borrowed.

We shortened both.

Most are a rigid woven with no stretch in them at all, ours has elastane through it. It keeps its structure, and it gives when you move.

• Shortened body: ends at your hip, so it reads as a layer rather than a coat
• Shortened sleeves: finish at your wrist, no folding back
• Hangs right worn open: enough structure that the front edges fall straight instead of curling in, soft enough to wear all day
• Chest pockets: with the DEVENI woven label folded into the wearer's left pocket flap
• Graded across the full range: S to XXL, cut for a shorter frame at every size, not just the small end

It layers over everything you already wear and works from a desk to a dinner.
