The overshirt is the most useful thing a man can own. It is also the piece that usually has shorter men drowning in fabric. The body would hang past your hip, the sleeves cover your hands, and what should look sharp ends up looking borrowed.

We cut ours for a shorter frame from the start.

The body stops around mid fly. Short enough to read as a layer instead of a coat, long enough to still cover you where needed. Through the shoulder and the bicep it sits close, so it follows your arm rather than hanging square off it.
